M-04.IZ.01.10 of the year 2003 on Visitor Visa on Arrival,
it is deemed necessary to establish the Decision of the
Director General of Immigration on the Procedures for
the Issue of Visitor Visa on Arrival;

THE
DECISION OF DIRECTOR GENERAL OF IMMIGRATION ON THE ISSUE
OF VISITOR VISA ON ARRIVAL

|
Article 1
|
| |
(1) |
The
Visitor Visa on Arrival is issued to Foreign Nationals,
the citizens of particular countries as mentioned in the
Decision of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of
the Republic of Indonesia No.
M-04.IZ.01.10 of the year 2003 on Visitor Visa on Arrival,
who do not already hold a visa when entering the territory
of Indonesia;

(3) |
The
issue of Visitor Visa on Arrival is the right of the Director
General of Immigration whose implementation authority
is given to the Immigration Officers in charge at certain
Immigration Check Points.

Article 2
|
| |
(1) |
The
application for Visitor Visa on Arrival is lodged to the
Immigration Officers directly in person by the applicant
at the counter of Visitor Visa on Arrival located at the
Immigration Check Points by submitting all the requirements;
|
| |
|
|
| |
(2) |
The
applicant for Visitor Visa on Arrival must fill out the
Arrival/Departure Card which has a function as the application
form;
|
| |
|
|
| |
(3) |
The
applicant for Visitor Visa on Arrival pays the visa fee
based on the current regulations.
|
| |
|
|
|
Article 3
|
| |
The
requirements for the application for a Visitor Visa on
Arrival are as follows:
|
| |
a) |
An Arrival/Departure card that has been filled out;
|
| |
b) |
The
original passport that is still valid for at least 6 (six)
months on the date of arrival in Indonesia;
|
| |
c) |
The
receipt of visa fee that is based on the current regulations;
|
| |
d) |
The
applicant is not listed on the Entry Prohibition List.
|
| |
|

Article 4
|
| |
(1) |
The
issue of Visitor Visa on Arrival is done after the examination
of the applicant, that all the requirements have been
met, and the purpose of visit of the applicant to Indonesia.
|

|
|
| |
(2) |
The
issue of Visitor Visa on Arrival is done by attaching
a stamp on to the valid passport.
|
| |
|
|
|
Article 5
|
| |
(1) |
The
Immigration Officers have rights to refuse the application
and or cancel the Visitor Visa on Arrival.
|
| |
|
|
| |
(2) |
The
refusal of the Visitor Visa on Arrival application is
notified to the applicant and is reported to the Director
General of Immigration with the reasons attributed for
the disapproval.
|

|

This decision is effective
from 1 February 2004.
