UPDATE REPORT
ON THE BALI BOMBING

The Bali Provincial Government provides 3 crisis centres (Posko), since the bombing incident at Legian, Bali on 12 October 2002. They are as follows :

The Bali Provincial Government will provide financial assistance to the victims, rehabilitate the damaged of public facilities, clean up the site, and plan to hold a worship. The Government of Australia has also delivered medicines, clothes and food, as part of humanitarian assistance to Indonesia, which had arrived in Bali on 15 October 2002.

According to the latest data obtained from Posko in Sanglah Hospital on 15 October 2002, the number of dead victims is 183. 116 among them have been evacuated to other countries including Australia. While 43 victims are still being hospitalised in several hospitals in Bali, in which 4 of them are foreign nationals (3 Danish and 1 Greece).
