Special Envoy of the President
of Indonesia and current Minister of
Finance Mr. Jusuf Anwar will visit Australia
from Sunday, 6 February 2005 until Thursday,
10 February 2005 to bolster closer bilateral
ties on combating money laundering between Australia
and Indonesia.
During his visit, Mr. Anwar
is expected to meet with Prime Minister John
Howard and deliver a special message from
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Mr.
Anwar is also expected to hold talks with Australia's
Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister
for Justice and Customs, the Treasurer,
and the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Mr. Anwar will be accompanied
by the Head of the Agency for Economics,
Finance and International Cooperation of
the Indonesian Department of Finance, Mr.
Anggito Abimanyu.
