INDONESIAN TRADITIONAL DANCES
at
CANBERRA MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL
        The Indonesian Traditional Dancers "IRIANTOS" from Manokwari, Papua, will participate in the Canberra Multicultural Festival 2004. They will perform Tari Api (Fire Dance) and Tari Mayai Marowa (Dance to celebrate winning of a war), on:
  • Saturday, 14 February 2004 at 12.15 - 12.45 pm at the World Music Stage, Garema Place, and

  • Sunday, 15 February 2004 at 1.00 pm - 1.30 at Glebe Park

        There will also be performance of Tari Rantak (Rantak Dance) from West Sumatra, and Tari Tandak Ganjen (Tandak Ganjen Dance) from Jakarta.

        We kindly invite you to see and enjoy the performance of the unique Indonesian traditional dances.
