Re: Accusation bribery by Mr Ayamiseba

Dear Editor,

Your article entitled 'Ayamiseba to sue newspaper over article’(Daily Post, November 26) attributes Ayamiseba as saying that the Indonesian Government had paid the ‘Independent’ newspaper to rubbish the ‘officer’ of the so-called West Papua people’s representative office in Vanuatu.

We are shocked to be accused of bribing the ‘Independent’ whose existence had never been known to us.
Therefore we also would like to study all options available including legal avenues against the blatant accusations by Mr. Ayamiseba.

We are also intrigued by the reference to Mr. Ayamiseba’s ‘diplomatic status’. We therefore
question which country he represents, certainly not Indone
sia.

Yours sincerely,
