A
single entry Social-Cultural Visa is granted for those who will conduct
social-cultural activities (e.g. family gathering, education, sports,
etc.) in Indonesia for a duration of up to 6 (six) months. The applicant
must have a valid sponsor (company or individual) in Indonesia and must
have the requirements listed below.
Social-Cultural
Visa is valid if presented within 3 (three) months from the date of
issuance and could be extended in Indonesia or converted into a Temporary
Stay Visa.
REQUIREMENTS:

An application
form must be completed in duplicate with two passport sized
photographs (2x2 inch)

Passport must
be valid for at least 6 (six) months after the date of entry.

A cover letter
from an Australian sponsor (e.g. the employer, education institution,
etc.) and/or a similar letter from the individual/institution (with
company letterhead) in Indonesia explaining the position of the
applicant, the purpose of visit and duration of stay. If deemed
necessary, a form guarantee on the availability of funds to cover
living expenses while in Indonesia.

A copy of
the sponsor's legitimate and valid Indonesian ID card and/or passport
(for individual sponsor).

A single
entry Social-Cultural Visa will be issued for up to 6 (six) months.
A visa fee of A$ 60.00 is required and made payable only in a form
of money order or company cheque to the Indonesian Embassy. Cash,
personal cheque, or credit card payments will not be accepted.

A copy of
return trip airline ticket (itinerary) from the travel agent.

It requires
at least 3 (three) working days to process the visa since the receipt
of application and has been declared complete by the Embassy.

Please note
that payment of the visa administration fee does not guarantee that
the application will be successful. Therefore, there will be no
refund of payment on unsuccessful applications; and

envelope with completed return address (registered post or express
