SERVICE VISA

 

        Service Visa is given to foreign nationals bearing an Official/Service Passport in order to conduct official (non-diplomatic) assignments in Indonesia. Requests for a Service Visa must be submitted through an Indonesian Diplomatic Mission abroad by fulfilling the requirements. It takes at least 3 (three) working days to process a single entry Service Visa if the application has been declared complete by the Embassy. For certain assignments, a visa will be issued after obtaining the necessary approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Application form must be completed in duplicate along with 2 (two) passport sized photographs (2x2 inch).
  2. Diplomatic Note from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia for Australian Diplomatic Passport or Diplomatic Note from the Embassy/High Commissioner for other foreign nationals, confirming the person's diplomatic assignment, explaining the position of the applicant and duration of stay in Indonesia.
  3. A formal invitation letter from the Indonesian counterpart is required; and
  4. Official/Service Passport must be valid for at least 6 (six) months after the date of entry.
